Today, the beaches of Normandy, France, are quiet and peaceful. Tall grass sways in the breeze, sunlight sparkles on the water, and birds fly gracefully along the shoreline. But 75 years ago, it was a living hell for thousands of young men. With a team of researchers from around the world, Normandy Revisited will analyze the battlefield as it sits today for relics of the past and explore how the war still defines the landscape of the region.
During the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, 94-year-old Chester Kochan was able to return to the exact site where he was severely wounded during WWII, for the first time since the war. Our film crew had the privilege to capture this incredible event, and Normandy Revisited will follow his journey back to the bunker, allowing viewers to experience his emotional return firsthand.
Stories of soldiers who never returned from France and made the ultimate sacrifice in the world's struggle for freedom and democracy will be brought to life once again. Our unique perspective, exclusive stories, and international research team, ensure that Normandy Revisited will be a documentary like no other.
